Marilyn Yuan is a litigator with a breadth of experience in disputes involving intellectual property, labor and employment, data privacy and consumer protection. She is a versatile and dedicated advocate who regularly leverages her varied experience to provide practical and creative solutions for the firm’s clients.

Marilyn graduated cum laude with a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School where she served as a staff editor on the Journal of Law and Policy. Marilyn also served as the chair of multiple student-run pro bono projects, including the RAP Sheet Assistance Program which worked in partnership with the Brooklyn Defender Services and the Bronx Defenders to improve the lives of individuals caught up in the criminal justice system. She was a recipient of the Public Service Gold award in recognition of her commitment to community building and public service.

A lifelong New Yorker, Marilyn previously served as a legal fellow at a leading national animal welfare organization where she focused on corporate compliance and commercial transactions. In that capacity, she advised internal stakeholders on regulatory obligations, contractual commitments and best practices, and developed strategies for ensuring compliance and facilitating innovation while managing risks and liabilities.
