Jonathan Harris to Speak at Asset Recovery Americas Conference this Fall

Harris St. Laurent & Wechsler founder and managing partner Jonathan Harris will be speaking at the Asset Recovery Americas conference, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from September 20-22. Harris will participate in a panel titled “Defense Strategies for Defendants: From the Innocent Victim, to the Fraudster Without a Defense” on September 22.

This world class event will gather leading practitioners from the United States and Latin America who work in asset recovery, fraud and insolvency.

Harris is a seasoned trial lawyer who, among other matters, has represented the former President of Taiwan and a founder of Full Tilt Poker in forfeiture actions brought by the United States Department of Justice, has represented numerous clients in cases where the United States Securities and Exchange Commission has sought forfeiture, and has represented civil clients in asset recovery actions.
