Jonathan Harris Quoted in Law.com Article Regarding Growth of Midsize and Boutique Trial Firms

Harris St. Laurent & Wechsler LLP founder and managing partner Jonathan Harris was quoted by Law.com (subscription required) about the growth of midsize and boutique litigation firms.

Harris told Law.com that one of the main reasons midsize and boutique law firms are gaining ground on larger firms is the depth of trial experience they offer, which is particularly true for HSW. He observed that “it’s hard for the large firms to try cases economically” and that “most litigation boutiques are started by and filled with folks who try cases on a regular basis.” Harris added, “We’re a 22-lawyer firm and we tried eight significant cases last year. You just don’t get those kinds of numbers at a large firm.”

Harris is a seasoned trial lawyer with extensive litigation experience in business disputes and the financial industry. He represents plaintiffs and defendants as lead counsel in litigation, arbitrations, mediations and investigations.
