DCA Live Names Addy R. Schmitt a 2023 DC Emerging Woman Leader in Private Practice

DCA Live has named Harris St. Laurent & Wechsler’s Washington, D.C. managing partner, Addy R. Schmitt, to its 2023 DC Emerging Women Leaders in Private Practice list. This year’s edition honors 25 female attorneys who are leaders within their firms and the broader Washington legal community.

Schmitt and the list’s other honorees will be honored at a special event at the Washington office of Foley & Lardner on April 4. Recipients are nominated by one or more leaders in the Washington legal community and selected from a deep pool of candidates. Honorees are recognized for their exceptional performance as lawyers and demonstrated ability as leaders.

Schmitt litigates complex criminal and civil cases. She represents corporations, organizations and individuals in criminal investigations and prosecutions, regulatory and enforcement matters, commercial litigation, and internal investigations. Her experience ranges from defending clients against public corruption charges and False Claims Act violations to partnership disputes, employment discrimination and retaliation cases.
