National Law Journal Names Jonathan Harris a 2021 Employment Law Trailblazer
July 1, 2021
Harris St. Laurent & Wechsler managing partner Jonathan Harris has been named to the National Law Journal's 2021 list of Employment Law Trailblazers. He will be profiled alongside other honorees from across the country in the publication's July/August issue.
A trial lawyer with extensive business and financial experience, Harris advises founders, executives and companies in employment matters, partnerships and business deals. He is the lawyer many founders call for co-founder disputes — especially where a founder finds himself or herself cut out of a business they created and built.
His cases, such as Learning Annex, have made new law around quantum meruit and equitable remedies, particularly in the common startup situation where a client has no formal agreement with co-founders, or where a quickly drafted startup agreement does not reflect the actual understanding of the founding team.
Through its Trailblazers supplements, the National Law Journal recognizes movers and shakers in the legal industry who have made an impact through new strategies or precedent-setting matters across the country.
